Join us for an incredible, not-to-be-missed experience of a lifetime with our trip to ICC, Birmingham for Music Theatre International's Junior Theatre Festival 2026. EVENT DATE - SUNDAY 24TH MAY 2026

REHEARSALS - Sundays from February, (excluding school holidays, and Mother's Day (15th March).
From February we will be casting and rehearsing our performance for the event, an excerpt from Disney's Beauty & The Beast, which will be performed to a panel of judges at the event (we are talking West End and Broadway directors, choreographers, MDs and producers!!).

Rehearsals will be held on Sundays 1-4pm at ReAct Studios, Church, BB5 0DP every week (excluding school holidays and Mother's Day) up until the trip, and attendance MUST be a priority - this has to be an incredible piece of theatre that we present, so rehearsals are a MUST!!!

ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT... It's an early start! We will be setting off from ReAct Studios, Church, BB5 0DP at 5am. Children will be given t-shirts to wear which they MUST arrive in on the day. They will also need a packed lunch / tea and a refillable bottle of water.

ReAct logo or plain black leggings / jogging bottoms must also be worn along with black jazz shoes (which can be changed into at the venue). Long hair will need to be neatly tied back, (French plaits are best - we can help with this on the journey to Birmingham).
Upon arrival at ICC, Birmingham our kids will be thrust into some incredible workshops with the likes of West End choreographers (previously our students have worked with the resident choreographer from the West End production of Matilda and most recently Disney's Hercules), directors, vocal coaches... the list goes on. After a rehearsal, they will perform their Beauty & the Beast piece, and they will also get to see some professional performances of West End show extracts, brand new works unseen by anyone else, and our kids may even be selected to perform on the big stage as part of the All-Stars to an audience of over 2000 people!!
Our coach will depart around 7.30pm and we estimate to arrive back at ReAct Studios for 9.45/10pm - physically exhausted, but mentally buzzing!! We cannot wait to go... this is going to be the best day EVER!!

The remaining payment of £100 can be paid in two instalments before the event - first in January and the second in March.
Cancelled places cannot be refunded and are strictly non-transferable due to MTI rules.

IMPORTANT - Photography and videography is compulsory at this event, you cannot opt out of having your child's image captured. Please do not sign your child up to this event if you do not consent to this. By signing up you are giving MTI and ReAct permission to capture your child's image.
